2023-2024 Highlights

The most recent report shows that, between the 2022 and 2023 surveys, the average salary for engineering professionals increased by 6.1% while, over the same period, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 4%. The average salary is now $123,314, an increase of $7,077. The median is $115,600.

A survey of engineering executives was also conducted. The report notes that many business leaders have implemented various solutions to deal with labour shortages, review total compensation to be more competitive (68%), make the work environment pleasing and attractive (64%), use students / offer internships (58%), etc.
