In response to the violent earthquake that has devastated Haiti, Engineers Without Borders Quebec (ISFQ) and the Réseau des ingénieurs du Québec (RéseauIQ) are pooling their efforts to aid the victims and participate in the reconstruction effort .The earthquake in Haiti has resulted in the loss of many thousands of lives and caused major damage to infrastructures of all kinds. To keep the situation from getting even worse due to growing problems of accessibility to drinking water, power and the other necessities of life, ISFQ is assisting in the reconstruction by applying its expertise in these areas and its experience in conducting engineering projects for Third World countries.
In partnership with other international aid organizations, ISFQ is asking for the volunteer expertise of its engineer members, the collaboration of its partners in the field and the generosity of the organizations that support it.
Given the unimaginable extent of the disaster and the urgency of the world’s response, RéseauIQ is appealing to the generosity of Quebec engineers and supporting the fundraising campaign of the Engineers without Borders Quebec (ISFQ) mission to Haïti.
Engineers, let’s show how much we care!
Engineers Without Borders Québec, the Réseau des ingénieurs du Québec and all the volunteers in the field thank you!
