RéseauIQ is your reference for engineering jobs and training
Following the OIQ`s ruling which came into effect in April, continuing education is now mandatory for all engineers. The RéseauIQ is one of the primary organizations offering accredited training as well as everything engineers need to further develop their skills and know-how.
This new regulation encourages us to increase our already richly varied program. In particular we have adjusted our offerings to match the new reality of the workplace and to meet the challenges engineers face on a daily basis. The training content is analyzed by our team of specialists and is adapted in order to better correspond with the reality of engineers.
Engineers can also get a feel for the employment market through the RéseauIQ 2011 Remuneration Survey which is an account of the state of employment conditions for engineers including salary levels and benefits by sector (public, manufacturing, communications, telecommunications, information, consulting engineering and other private sector work), by region, by years of experience, by age and by level of education.
Here are a few details: according to the data gathered, the average salary for engineers increased by 4.4% from last year. In addition, the average salary for an engineer with 17.1 years of experience was $91.4K and the direct average salary was $101.3k.
You can find more information on our website including the complete results of the survey - also available in the new and practical "Flash" format.
Happy reading!
