RéseauIQ Is Opening Its Doors to Engineering Graduates
It is with great enthusiasm that I announce that RéseauIQ is now offering its services to engineering graduates in Quebec. This measure will expand the number of people who use our services and therefore our capacity to better serve you.
Engineering professionals in every field will from now on be admissible to join our organization under the status of associate. Reserved for non-members of RéseauIQ, this status will distinguish them from engineers. Although some restrictions apply, engineering graduates will enjoy various commercial advantages and discounts on continuing professional development.
Unlike its members, and in keeping with its mission, RéseauIQ will not represent their socio-economic interests in any case. Only members may contribute democratically to RéseauIQ by participating in elections, the general assembly and various committees within the organization.
To be admissible, graduates will have to pay an annual membership fee of $35. Exceptionally, all membership applications received by December 31, 2011 will be free for the first year!
For more details on the wide range of services offered and on the membership conditions for engineering graduates, I invite you to visit our website page created for this purpose.
With its 60,000 engineering members and associates, among whom are engineering students, graduates and forestry engineers, RéseauIQ can now really say it is at the centre of engineering in Quebec.
I am pleased to welcome all engineering graduates in Quebec to RéseauIQ!
Yves Lavoie, Eng.
President
