« Special communication to our members »
You received a special newsletter from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec on November 3 mentioning a message from the RéseauIQ sent the evening before. I would like to clear a few things up, so everyone understands what it was about and to ensure that we are all on the same page.
Our message was exclusively addressed to the 3,000 engineering graduates and not to engineers who currently have a profile with the RéseauIQ. As associate clientele, engineering graduates are also eligible for some of the advantages and services offered by the RéseauIQ (for more details, please visit our website).
In order to ensure the proper functioning of the organization, and to comply with its general rules, the RéseauIQ needs to update its database in order to clarify who is and who is not an engineer before it can determine who take advantage of certain benefits.
For the sake of transparency, please find here our original message in its entirety. You will notice that some passages are underlined. These passages, which were omitted by the Order, show the differences between the two organizations and highlight collaboration with members about making the required adjustments to their profiles.
Our discussion platforms are open to all comments. If you have any questions, please be assured that the RéseauIQ team and I are available to answer your queries.
