Le RéseauIQ puts matters in perspective

Dear Members,

It is not without some amazement that we learned the results of the OIQ services RFP in which the RéseauIQ took part, noting in the process that the National Bank had returned to the OIQ fold. With the release of the latest issue of Plan, on April 1, the OIQ announced its agreements, preferring to have two partners. One thing is certain: you have no obligation to use the two services offered by the OIQ, no matter what you are told.

For its part, the RéseauIQ has chosen to negotiate with new and respected suppliers to enable engineers to benefit from an offering of specialized financial services that meet their diverse needs.  We are quite proud to present Re/Max Alliance, which helps engineers in buying and selling property.  For your mortgages, Planiprêt offers mortgage brokerage services, using a financial planning approach.

Moreover, we wish to remind engineers that The Personal has been a faithful partner of engineers for 23 years, offering exclusive car and home insurance benefits. Their highly competitive program has been selected by 7 out of 10 Quebec engineers, and more than 99% renew it annually.

In any case, we can assure you that RéseauIQ will carry on its mission of serving the common interests of engineers, whether for commercial services, career and training and public representation.  Our organization remains attentive to the issues and needs of engineers, in order to always provide satisfaction.

François P. Granger, Eng.
President
