* Only those with an engineering permit who are members of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) may be granted the status of RéseauIQ member. Only such people may use the title of engineer and practise their profession. Members may benefit from all RéseauIQ services free of charge. In addition, only members may contribute  democratically to RéseauIQ by participating in elections, the general assembly and various committees within the organization.
